An Acrostic Monorhyme
Meditating night and day
In and out, my breath’s at play.
Noting thoughts that want to stay—
Deeply breathing…gone away.
Finding stillness as I pray,
Understanding mind will stray;
Lessons teach me—it’s okay.
(Needed help without delay,
Entered in a toddler fray
Spiked with bouts of disarray.
Sought a stance of come what may.)
