This conflict of sound
Ears struggle to hone
Cheerful bird chirps drowned
Out by leaf-blower drone

Dandelions duck down
To avoid being mown
By the sidewalk found
Tiny Robin’s egg lone

Trees in new spring green gowns
Leaves rustle, breezes moan
Carefree days circle round
And settle on their own
