Illusion at Best


Today’s Cities
towns
and roads


were yesterday’s forests, streams, lakes, and oceans.

Today’s churches
Religions,
And other social media
were someone’s else’s ideas.
Yesterday.

Today’s governments,
elections,
and other social controls,
were yesterday’s dreams.
So, why is it so hard to believe
that life is an illusion?


Ask someone who has survived Sandy, Andrew, Katrina and the Oklahoma City night of terror.
