Week 6 second session Microfiction challenge.
The story was that if you stood at the mirror in the dark and whispered, “Bloody Mary.” three times in succession, that she would appear in the mirror, reach out, and steal your soul. I did not believe, and neither did Susan. One day we stood in the cafeteria bathroom at school and turned out the lights. Susan stood at the mirror and whispered three times. I don’t know how to describe what I saw but with the lights on she lay dead on the floor. To this day, I won’t stand in front of a mirror in the dark.
