Microfiction Challenge week 7 session 2
Mysterious, ethereal, the billowing oranges and reds of the flame are hypnotic. There is no ignoring them for me. It verges on obsession for me. All I really want in life is to bring to life those flickering dragons’ tongues.

I don’t start fires because I choose to. I do it because I must. You can blame me if you want but the reality is that it is beyond my control. I say this by way of apology. I know this isn’t a consolation to you as the flames rise and your flesh burns. Just know I can’t help it.
