week 10 second session microfiction challenge
I love balloons. To me they are toys and science experiments… I have sent many an army man parachutist into the sky with no hope of return. Now it was time for my little astronaut doll. I made her with the hope of reaching infinity. No parachute for her. Just a tiny little ragdoll spacesuit. The bubble of her spacesuit was from a vending machine capsule. She would make it to the stars. I used the balloon’s ribbon to tie her to the base of the balloon. With a prepared countdown I readied for the launch. Four… three… two… one...
