Just some thoughts how perspective changes with age.
There are times to reflect as we move through the ages,
assessing our progress at varying stages.
In earlier years it’s a question of place,
have we met with our marks in our personal race?
But as we continue along through our days,
perspectives start changing in multiple ways.
From focus on status to that of connection,
from less of press forward to more of reflection.
What lives have we touched? What’s our legacy now?
What else can we do to improve it somehow?
So, as you transition, may choices provide
those meaningful moments that hug you inside.
