Strange Relm For Stormy Lady's Challenge

Sam Adams, an old retiree,
Went walking one day
In Tilden Park in Berkeley
His ancient homeland.

He came upon a strange sight
A door
suspended in the air.

He heard a disembodied
Strangely alluring voice
Warning people,

“If you dare to enter
Despite this warning,
Beware.

You are entering
A forbidden realm
Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid.”

He opened the door
As he touched the door
The sky darkened all around him.

Thunder and lightning flashed
And he found himself
In a dark, nightmarish realm.

He shut his eyes
For a moment
To adjust
To the sight.

Saw creeping creatures
Nightmarish real
All around him.

Staring at him
With blood-red eyes
Blazing with pure hatred.

He looked up,

And saw a demonic figure
A beautiful woman
Who smiled at him.

Bid him welcome
To her realm.

Saying,

‘Welcome, Sam, to my world.
Oh, you foolish mortal,
You should have paid attention
To the warning,

But now you are here
You are now mine
My eternal minion.

You will do
As you are told
No one in this realm,

Will ever escape
Back to the sunlit realms
Of your world”.

Inspired loosely by the Narnia tales and by Stranger Things.
