Yeah, that's right.


An old photograph
worn thin with age
I found hidden there
upon a forgotten page

The corners were torn
the colors almost faded
I tried to see
when it had been dated

The face seemed so familiar
although I could not remember
I think it was taken
sometime in September

Was it Christmas morning
or maybe a summer dance
maybe a sweetheart
that I met by chance

It's so hard to recall
when the memory goes
just like an old photo
that nobody knows

An old, old picture
lost in the years
covered with dust
till somebody cares
