Destruction happened after the storm hit. Time to clean up.
A broken fence lay across the gate
The wires broken leaving a power outage
Some fallen leaves clutter the yard
Quite a rude awakening

I grab my gloves and apron
To start cleaning up after the storm
Windows were broken
Water settled all around me

I picked up branches nearby
Grabbed my rake to rake the leaves
Watched out for broken glass
Left behind by the storm
