|"Who's that?" Mark nodded in the direction of a girl sitting on her own in the canteen, head in a book.|
"New girl. Not sure of her name, mate. She's a sixth former. Bit of a clever clogs." Jamie looked over. He had to admit she was a looker, if you like that bookish type.
Mark picked up his tray and crossed to her table. "Mind if I sit here?" She barely nodded, engrossed in the law book she was reading. "What are you reading?"
"Constitutional law. Do you mind, I need to concentrate." She turned away. After ten minutes of silence, Mark gave up and moved back to Jamie's table.
"You're wasting your time, mate."
"Wanna bet? If I haven't bedded her by the end of the month, I'll ... er ... do your homework for a week." Mark was sure of himself.
"You're on, mate."
That was how it started ...
"You're obsessed, mate. Give up. She's just not into you." Jamie was right but Mark just couldn't see it.
"I sent her flowers, chocolates, what more do I have to do to win her over?"
"Why don't you just leave her alone." Jamie was getting fed up with the whole thing. He moved away to another table.
Mark stared across at Mariska. He had a plan. He knew where she lived. He would use his drone to take photos of her in her bedroom, sexy photos. Then Jamie would believe he was involved with Mariska.
