Oh, dear Winter you are coming soon.
I hope you are gentle and mild.
But I know in my heart.
You'll be free and wild.

Your winds will blow and howl.
Your glistening ice will cover trees.
The little ponds all around
Will shiver, shake and freeze.

You are harsh and very fierce.
You bring piles of snow.
But you are so beautiful.
As everyone knows.
