I woke up early for work, then I went back to sleep and woke up late for work. I drank some water and brushed my teeth. It was cold in the house. It was too early to be up and about. Nobody - nobody who's sane - should be out of bed before noon in December.
At my desk I focused my sleep-blurred eyes on the computer monitor and just about managed to log in. There were already too many emails. I got up and went to the kitchen for coffee. I came back, logged back in, sipped at the coffee. I'd had enough. I didn't want to die, only appear offline in the real world for a while. That would be nice.
