Lilacs and trees sprout their leafy arms
French Perfume Strokes the air

Lilac bushes begin to shake loose from winter slumbers

Cattle moo their entry into the waiting world

Horses with tight reins prance below the plantation windows.

Plants twist and turn ________

Dogs scratch the native fleas that eat

the scrawny pups.


Today begins spring,

and the world breaks with sudden CCCRACKS!

Ice Floes topple in lakes and streams!

The Earth cleaves the icy skin of the earth..
