Acrostic about me.
I looked in the mirror today I did not recognize myself
Seems like the years have been passing me by every day

I saw a face of wrinkles and long hair of silver-grey white
Tears ran down from my faded brown eyes as I started

Remembering my days of youth, I smiled silently inside
Eagerly I brushed my long-tangled hair with gentleness
As I picked out my prettiest dress from the small closet
Loved ones came to see if I needed them to help me
Little ones call me grandma, grown ones call me mom
Yesterdays have come and gone in my many memories

Me, myself, and I have come to realize that we will change
Every second, minute, hour and day so I must move on.
