Merely man?

Bruised, broken, bleeding
Starving, thirsting, needing
If I run, I grow tired
I cannot fly as desired

To be a superman is a dream
But though I plead and scream
I'm still normal, I feel a sham
God leaves me as I am

There is one thing I know
Which encourages me to be aglow
When I love I mirror God Himself
And grow beyond creation itself

When I love I am larger than a mere man
When I love I'm part of the Divine plan
