I see and remember many things that define Christmas
Winter is here, snow is coming down all around while
Icicles, glistening in all their beauty, hanging from eaves.
Nativity Scenes, a common sight on lawns or in churches as
Trimmings on Christmas trees glitter and shine in windows.
Eggnog, a drink served before dinner as guests check the
Ribbons, looking so appealing, on presents under the tree.

Welcoming Christmas wreaths, so festive, hanging on doors,
Origin of Christmas is the anniversary of the birth of Jesus,
Noel bells ring, calling everyone to gather and worship, a
Drummer boy plays his best for the newborn king,
Embracing the son of God, sending out the word,
Rejoice! Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is lying in the manger,
Look! Follow the light in the sky, the Star of Bethlehem,
All aglow for the Shepherds, watching their sheep, to follow.
Neighborhoods are all alight with Christmas lights,
Dazzling everyone with all there twinkling splendor.
