ACROSTIC. A talk among friends.
That morning I woke up and just knew the time had come
Hearing the front doorbell buzz I hurried to answer it's ringing
Entering the house, they spoke to me silently without smiling

Close friends of mine were coming for a little get together
Opening the door, I saw the sadness in their loving eyes
Neither one of them looked happy to see me standing there
Various times we had been together, but it was really awful
Every time we were in the same room, we would get mad
Ranting and raving like some crazy people in a looney bin
So, I started, "She used to live by Me when we were small"
And all three of us were very close to each other as friends
Then Myself, I moved down the street, never saw her again
I would like to know if she might have moved far, far away
Only the three of us can find her again and together will
Never be lonely for we will be ME, MYSELF AND I again.
