Acrostic poem.
My mind goes wandering at this time of the lonely night
I seem to think of all the things that cause me such fright
Devils, demons, monsters from an old childhood dream
Nasty things that will surely make me want to scream
I shake and I shiver beneath the covers on my little bed
Growing more frightened in my throbbing, exploding head
Hearing sounds all through the house I try to fall asleep
The things I see and hear begin to moan, groan and creep

Holding on to my cover I begin to see the morning sunlight
Over, I am glad is this awful, scary, terrible, darken night
Upon looking around my room I see there is nothing there
Reaching for my teddy I suddenly realize I simply don't care.
