ACROSTIC POEM
Seems I do not know the horrors of shopping with a teenager
Her choices in clothing are somewhat just plain odd and weird
Overalls are her main go to clothing that she chooses to wear
Purple is her color of hair and jeans that already have holes
Perhaps I should have put this trip off until she was grown
I always hope this time it will be different, but perhaps not
Near the shoes I see her looking at black army like boots
Getting them, she moves on to shirts where she picks one

Though the mall is under construction it doesn't bother her
Racing through the construction zone she manages very well
I can't wait till the day she shops on her own, I can only imagine
Perhaps our shopping trip had no mishaps, but her choice of clothes.
