Fairyland for a brief moment
The winter storm has now passed by,
dropping its glistening snow behind.
Radiant diamonds shine so bright,
a vision to your wandering eyes.

Imagine that some fairy dust,
has slipped into the dark of night.
leaving for us, a brief surprise,
upon the area's barren crust.

We know this gift will disappear,
when sunshine brings its warmth to earth.
The magic melts to come again,
another time - another year.

Our seasons come, and seasons go.
Nature gives homage to each one.
The green of spring, and reds of fall,
pure whiteness from the winter snow.

Beauty is everywhere we look,
be it the land, or sky, or hills.
All painted by the wind and sun,
it's truly nature's fairy book.
