Reality or fantasy
I feel nothing at all
As I lay here dying
Your hands around my throat
Stamping my life out like a smoke
And the world turns dark
Everything bleeds out
And my life is erased
In one final twist of fate

It's all tangled up in here
These roots and branches
Everything looks the same
No matter which side you're on
Step into the mirror
It all looks like home
Until the beast shows its face
And then you realize the truth

It's all just a fantasy world
And nothing is really real
So you just keep living your life
In whatever way that feels real
Because all that matters in the end
Is you can look at yourself, keep playing pretend

Look at the world around you
Watch as the world turns
Say you lived truly and honestly
While the fire inside you still rages and burns

Like
A
Spark
It
Never
