A short poem about a break-up.
Harsh

Take a pencil.
Sit down and scribe me a letter.
Say everything you wanted to say.
Hope that makes it better.

I won’t read your letter.
It really has no purpose.
It’s simply meant to pass some time.
Like going to a circus.

I am not a lion-tamer.
And you are not a clown.
We simply make no sense as one.
We should put this down.

Take a marker.
Lie down and make me a poster.
Say whatever you wanted to say.
Hope that makes us closer.

I won’t see your poster.
It does not matter to me.
It will give you something to do.
Like bees collecting honey.

I am not a queen bee.
And you are not a drone.
We simply make no sense as one.
We’ll leave this alone.
