My Jessie-woo woo, Dad's 16 1/2 yr old pug
A sweetness undenied -
A lovable little pug.
Still a puppy inside,
Whom one still wants to hug.

Her aging body is hard to bear,
And her frailties to witness;
Still she goes on with care,
Despite the pain and sickness.

One day soon, she'll cross that bridge
The rainbow one, we'll see;
To know her will have been a privilege,
And a heart of gold has she.
