I know that I'm not perfect.
Oh, who are you to judge me?
Like you’re the perfect one?
And I should turn a blind eye to
the things that you have done?

I know that I’m not perfect.
I never claimed to be.
No, sad to say, I am not much,
you get just what you see.

And I would never judge you.
No, I would never dare.
For I can’t look inside of you
so how could that be fair?

We’re really not that different.
We both have many flaws.
Consider all the scars we have
beneath the bloody gauze.

Some day there will be judgment.
At least that’s what they say.
I hope that doesn’t come too soon,
that dreaded judgment day.

‘Til then we should try harder
to look inside our hearts
and maybe understand ourselves.
That should be how it starts.
