a painful realization
Putting my faith in you
I thought your promises true;
How pathetic can it be?

I played the game of hearts,
Only to be torn completely apart -
I tried so hard to see.

Hurt, your name I kept calling,
Stumbling, shaking, finally falling.
For it was not meant to be.
