A brief poem about anxiety.
Fear
because I know I am disposable.

Fear
because affection is temporary.

Fear
the film that coats every word I say.

Fear
the motivation behind every thought, every day.

Fear
because pain is not far off.

Fear
because all the tables have been turned.

Fear
my God, it is eating me alive.
