Morning time sounds are so different than evening sounds. I think they are nicer.
Early in the morning there are sounds that
let me know that my day is about to begin.
The cats hop on the bed to let me know that
they are hungry. The school bus
goes by to show me that kids are going to school.
Our dog softly barks to show that he
wants out and very soon back in.
The air conditioner clicks on.
Our bird clock voices the call for the bird of the hour.
My husband fills his coffee cup with hot water.
But my favorite sounds are the geese calling and
soaring in air to the pond behind the house
indicating that they are ready for their shock corn.
Watching the other ducks glide onto the water is a joy.
I usually turn off the wake up alarm before it
goes off because I want nature to tell me it is time
for me get up and join that collection of sounds.
