it's always there, you just have to learn how to manage it.
i laugh in the face of worry.
i laugh so hard it makes my vision blurry.

if i don't, it'll consume my mind,
it happens all the time.
it's always there to remind,
that my physical and mental health has declined.
all i want is to be aligned, except i'm blind,
feeling confined with no way out.

so we persevere,
shed a few tears,
somehow we've made it here.

in this period of time,
there's always room to grow,
always a body of water to row,
and in the end, we'll show,
what our younger selves aspired to be
so long ago.
