I wrote this poem so that people can relate to their own variety of bad luck and suffering
I watch as I add another dying star
To my constellation of misfortune
Somewhere along the days of my life
My mind comes to wonder
How did my wish travel so far
Yet come home in a perilous path
Raining down with a shimmering subduedness
Reflecting in my pupils
In broken pieces.
