A special poem on the day Prince Charles became Charles III. It had a lot of flare.
Ceremony performed to invest a new king.

Oaths are sworn to protect everything.

Regal apparel is worn from shoes to earrings.

On his majesty's head is a beautiful crown.

Natural diamonds that are seen are renown.

All visiting dignitaries will be impressed.

Tradition so old you might have guessed.

Important military personnel on horses got no day of rest.

Off spring of the monarch had a special part.

Now King Charles III is ready for a glorious start.
