As a kid or teenager, parents need to be cut some slack - a rhyming poem.
Parents vault a loose persuasion,
Cannot trust a loll-y-popping…
Might cause jaded consternation;
Grandest triumphs never stopping.

That reasonable, consoling leverage,
Tried and true, supports objectives…
Doesn’t mean a stricter average
Won’t deceive those slick detectives.

Breathing watches with a longing,
Persistent, seeking, stronger grip…
Just don’t comment on belonging.
Conclude this voting, family’s trip!!!

With your holds, consistency -
Let their gaffes go down the drain…
Your burgeoning resiliency
Will fete your inner child’s brain.

In the end, it’s waste, moreover -
Seeking peace, just treasure light!
Know the rationale is over -
Standing tall, you did it right!
