The first of slam poetry for June for me.
if the keys were not now cold
A to Z
apostrophe question mark
having run out of high test gone
soft to finish where once the
weather, sublime gave birth
to a dizzying pace steady stream
of unusual observation proud
bearer of distinguished tidings,

then a day of reckoning seemingly longer
than any other pen with no good
ink bulky circular file a headache
with no consquence could have no
position among those others
that herald words like screaming
fans toward an idol
and it appears to be fitting

the blank white melting paper
beneath
