Waking up to the beauty of the garden -

Waking up to the beauty of the garden
Seeing the dewdrops on the rose
I may have done the planting
But God did the rest, and knows
That every little petal
That grows so beautifully
I will draw peace and grace from
He gave that - just to me.
The yellow iris blossoms
Amid the lilies there
I planted them with patience
He gave them all His care.
And sometimes as I wander
About the yard, I see
Columbine and heather
Not planted by me.
I see His beauty everyday
And know He's everywhere;
I will thank God for today
Knowing His love I can share.
