One night, hitchhiking home...
Night Memoir

And when I left you,
night was all around me;
the stars were violent in their light.

But I traveled on,
my arms empty of you,
my soul's music subtle and intense.

I know your eyes by heart.
My mouth shapes words
delirious and strange.

Days pass by.
Now you are the image
I awake to.

And I?
I am a dream
looking for your sleep.
