...are beginning to show again -

The colors of fall
Are beginning to show again,
Changing from the deep rich green
That I welcomed in the Spring.
A profusion of colors soon
Will transform our hills to
Beauty unsurpassed;
I picture in my mind
An artist painting,
Trying to capture the magic
Created by God.
The leaves turn slowly
From green to gold,
Or to a deep red with a dash
Of orange here and there -
Neighboring evergreens
Stand in awe, perhaps wishing
That they, too, could change.
Yet they serve us well
As a statement that difference
In the world
Is good..
For when the leaves are gone
And those trees are sleeping,
We still have color
Against an otherwise barren landscape..
Fall - is a magical time,
When God offers up
His works of art.

I am blessed.
