You asked me last night

You asked me last night, to hold you tight.
You asked me last night, to make your life right.
You asked me last night, to sleep next to you.
You asked me last night, to make every day new.
You asked me last night, to love you for life.
You asked me last night, to be your wife.

I answered last night...

I will spend each day, holding you tight.
I will spend each day, sharing your sight.
I will spend each day, with love that's true.
I will spend each day, coming home to you.
I will spend each day, loving you for life.
I will spend each day, being your wife.
