The world today and a dying man.
Smoke rises into leaden skies,
Sorrow fills over the land.
A man dreams of green fields and glistening rivers,
He has awoken with no reason to wake.
He is haunted by his memories,
of his lost paradise.
It may have been in his youth or in his older days,
but whenever it happened
it haunted him enternally.
The man pushes back greasy greying hair,
he looks out on the dirty morn.
And studies his polluted world.
Smoke is in his every breath,
Inhaling, exhaling all the toxic fumes.
Wishing of a yesterday that he cannot refind.
Despair and Misery cloud his failing heart.
For the time of peace has disappeared and
terror has set in.
So on and in this polluted earth,
another man has fallen.
His life is now amongst the stars.
Away from his pain and hunger,
In his perfect universe.

Nolonger haunted, nolonger streched.
Forever more in Heaven.
