This just sort of popped into my head as I was driving, and I have never been to Britain.
Life Is A Roundabout

Life is a roundabout

you go 'round and 'round

You only drive in one direction

you can't quite figure how to change lanes

You can't get out of it all

every exit is closed down

but for the one...

This just came to me while I was driving one night, and I am not even sure why. I have never been anywhere near Great Britain and the only roundabout I have ever been in is in Philadelphia, PA and I was a passenger, not the driver. I don't even know if that is a proper roundabout. None of this matters, and this will probably seem silly to those readers from countries with roundabouts, but these roundabouts have long had a sort of nightmare quality about them for me. You know, trapped and unable to get out, perpetually going round and round, like a rat in an exercise wheel.
