This is a true account of "Ask and you shall receive"
When I was a little girl
lying in my bed
I'd clasp my hands together
then I always said

Lord, if you are listening
There are some things I need
An innocent heart so open
These wishes please do heed

When one day I marry
Let that person be
Someone who will love
Everything in me

He'll make my heart soar high
Hold me everynight
Kiss me when he sees me
Make the wrongs alright

People say I am blessed
Come of age and grown
For all the things that I had wished
Are mine, and mine alone
