Young love and a 3/4 meter dance
You see her there
Across the room
You find the will to go
The music plays
She smiles at you
You somehow say hello
You nearly faint
The world slows down
Her smile is worth the chance
You see her eyes
You watch her face
And ask her for a dance

Her laugh is warm
You somehow smile
You melt inside a blush
She takes your hands
You slowly start
And yet you feel a rush
She's delicate
She's beautiful
You only feel her touch
The music wafts
Across the room
You fall into a trance
You know no other
Feeling now
Except the graceful dance

She looks at you
Her eyes are deep
The endless dancing flows
You've barely met
And yet she seems
The only one you've known
You've never felt
A sweeter time
A moment such as this
She leans in close
You close your eyes
And share with her a-

You wake up.
