I wrote this about the moon and I guy I once knew
He's tipped on his back
faintly, I can see his outline,
his shadow, his dark round core
I don't understand him
just there, not falling,
just floating, not real
I gaze up at him,
he blinds me, yet I strain to see him
does he see me?
Is he really there at all?
I can't touch him, but some can...
walked over him, stole parts of him, examined him
Yet still, no one understands him,
just sitting there,
tipped on his back
