Poem dedicated to loved ones who died last year.
If I could send a last bouquet
To speak my heart
In the language of flowers,
There are not enough Roses
To express the depth of my love,
Nor Lilies to mourn your loss.
Field upon field of Poppies
Would fail to console me.
So I’d cast a single bloom
To journey upon the wind
To carry my soul’s message
To where your spirit waits.
Forget-me-not.
