Some days it doesn't pay to make decisions!

DECISIONS, DECISIONS

So many pills, all of them mine
Lined up in a row and looking fine;
A little sip of wine for fun
Everything is over, done.

BUT

The gun that lies beside me on the bed
Just one shot, and I'd be dead;
No more tears, no sorrow to come
Everything is over, done.

BUT

A length of rope and I could climb
High upon this chair of mine
No blood to spill, the end would come;
Everything is over, done.

BUT

A little swim down in the river,
I'd no longer be such a giver;
It wouldn't matter if I lost or won,
Everything is over, done.

BUT

The phone is ringing, take a chance;
It might not be the end of romance -
I pick it up and say hello,
It isn't over, I can't go!

BUT

The doorbell rings and he stands there
Looking as if he doesn't have a care;
What meant so very much to me,
Is over, done and he is free!

BUT

I won't give up without a fight;
His blood runs cold in the dark of night!
And I go back and get the gun,
Everything is over, done.
