A gift to my baby sister, my best friend
Smarter than your thirteen years
Your child’s body almost dead
You provoke all my teenage fears
I love you, silly neener head

I can no longer lift you up
Or hide you in the big suitcase
My baby sister, growing up
I look and see a woman’s face

When will the nervous boyfriends be
So I can scare them all away
To get to you, they’ll go through me
‘Cause boys have cooties anyway

‘Best Sisters’ we are now and yet
I loved you from your tiny start
And you can forever bet
My Gabby’s always in my heart
