The life of one of the seven sins. Added more April 16 2003. With Octobers Lie.
My mother was believed to be the strongest of her kind. She was mistakenly
trained to be Lust when she should have been Wrath. She could have done a much
better job at that than Aunt Marian.

What can you expect though? She was the baby. It was traditional for the baby
to be named for and work as Lust. I'm not exactly sure why but it probably has
something to do with the "Daddy's Little Girl" bit. My Daddy often referred to
her as "Daddy's Little Defect."

He was powerful and the only male sin. He was Pride. My Aunt Kea died leaving
no heirs. My Grandfather chose Spencer, my mother's boyfriend to fill the spot.
He had been entirely human. Never had any contact, to his belief, with any sort
of demon. He hadn't even known Momma was one until Kea's death. He made the
transaction quite nicely. For a while, he feared everything. He was used to
having a short lifespan.

All of us were sins. Not gods or demons, certainly not Angels. Only one of us
was different. My mother's favorite, her baby, was not like any of us. Adrianna
Glory was the child of two sins. This was unheard of because Daddy was the
first male sin. Nobody was sure what Adrianna would be, human or an
abomination. Nobody figured they would do what they did though. They made
Glory, as she'd later be known, as a god.

Two years after Glory became a god, things went bad. We moved lots of times to
several different countries. Glory, being a god made several people mad and
made others realize that sins did exist. My Mother was most wanted because she
was the only one who could birth heir sins. Daddy put a lot into protecting
her. Even leaving us elsewhere for a while to keep a lower profile. Daddy came
back, alone from one of his flees. Momma married a human to better fit into the
world. It would make people think less of having her there. That was the first
time Momma was actually attacked. She always laughed about it because they had
sent basic vampires after her. She was part Vampire so it was no big deal to
kill them. Eventually, something did catch her though, Something big enough to
put us all into a protective home in another dimeinsion.

We then lived with Aunt Sasha. She ruled Envy.
She loved killing for Envy. She wasn't picky about it either. She put it as the
desire for ANYTHING. She sometimes killed people in the same fashion in which
they'd be punished in hell. Envy victims were placed in freezing water for all
eternity.
Sasha always laughed, "They desereve it, baby. It is alright for us!"
I never smiled about it. I always hoped she'd never die. Daddy was only there
once in a while. He had to keep an eye on Momma. He always worried someone
would kill or harm her.

We finally got to see her in October, the year after she had left. She looked
even more beautiful, if it was at all possible. She wore a smile the entire
time. That was the first time I had ever heard my Daddy call her by her real
name. Aiasati was her demonic name. Since she was both sin and demon she had a
demon name that overrode her real name. We only got to see her for one night. I
wouldn't see her again for two and a half years. She would be a lot different.

At first none of us really noticed her. Her red curls were now long, slick and black. Her eyes held more purple. She brought her husband with her. He wasn't as good as Daddy. He was very white and was short. His hair and his eyes were black. I couldn't see how my mother would love this. My father wasn't happy at all. He always tried to get her away from him for any reason. She kinda noticed after a while. I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but she had something different about her. The day she left, she told us she would be having one more baby. I couldn't believe it. She had told Daddy that Glory was enough and now she goes and has a baby with this.....thing!?! Now I hated "Kyle." He was replacing my Dad in my mother's life. I didn't speak with again until she came back in 8 months. After she left, I looked at old photos of her and Daddy. When looking at them, noticed that the baby wasn't what I'd noticed different. It was that the entire time she had a smile on her face. Not a fake one either. A genuine, honest smile. I couldn't believe she was happy with this boy. It would be of the many things that would turn her against my father and I.
