Fit yourself to another.
You want to twist me to fit your shape.
My edges grate against yours.
And I turn.
And I rub.
As my skin protests...
I need you to pull me in.

I need you.
Your eyes. Your blood.
Your veins wrapped around mine.
Fingers grasping at my neck,
Bending it to receive every bite.
Every kiss.

Mould me.
From what I am not,
To something I will be.
I want to be who you want me to be.
I need to be someone else.
Impurities show.

The stars. My stars.
They scream your name.
And I ache,
‘Til I burn.
Relate me to the sun.
We both revolve around you.

And when I close my eyes...
I see yours. Changing my vision.
A hand on my shoulder.
An arm around my neck.
Your touch sinks further into me.
Watch me melt.

I’d like to think you’re mine.
You’ve twisted yourself to fit my shape.
I’m just as twisted.
You can’t unravel me.
You can only hope that you know the secrets,
The ones that line my creased skin.

If I tell you a secret, will you listen?

Will you hear my whispered words?

If I cry for you, will you hear me?

Will you wipe away my scarlet tears?

You know my secrets.
Every twist in my body.
Every crease in my skin.
Your veins follow mine.
Like my eyes follow yours.

You can’t unravel me.
You’re already wound up in me.
