How will you spend another Sunday?

JUST ANOTHER SUNDAY

Just another Sunday -
How will you spend the time?
On the seventh day, God rested;
What will I do with mine?

A day away from work,
Time to cook and clean;
Time to enjoy the family
That are seldom seen.

Time to visit friends,
Catch up on the news;
Just another Sunday -
We all have our views.

Time to laugh and play,
Time to take a drive;
Sometimes I don't take time
To thank God I'm alive.

Somewhere in this little town
There's a church, I know;
I haven't been there in awhile
Maybe - I should go.

An hour or two, at the most
Doesn't seem like very much;
Perhaps I need some time
With God, to stay in touch.

Perhaps He has a message
That will help me through;
I guess I will get up and go,
Seems like the thing to do.

I don't think the church
Will fall down around my ears;
Maybe I can renew the faith
I've depended on for years.

How you spend your Sunday
Is surely up to you -
Rest awhile in His arms;
A little thanks will do.
