going out on a limb :S my first non-rhyming work. about a previous gf. r+r if you please
Darkened skies plagued with lust
Disappear now when I thought they would not
Because even though I grew up
To desire the flesh and not the mind
I have found myself changed for the better.
A reason for change is not, I feel
A difficult one to comprehend.
For you have saved my wasted mind
From the squalor which it endured.
Now bliss is all I know.

You took me from my dismal lows
Propelling me to dizzy heights, but not
As much as to get me so high
Where I float away, but to bring me back
To earth where you sit with your glow so bright.
To draw me down from where I sit.
You free my mind, but I keep my thoughts
So as to remember your touch.
Never forgetting each sweet kiss
That leaves your lips and touches mine.

All manner of life is fixated on such touch
Which causes never a bitter feeling
But only those of high content
As each touch brings nothing but a Godly bliss
Of soaring high with you
Above the clouds, above the houses
You lift me up where no one has ever
Lifted me, like you and I were once one
But were separated by some horrid act
Returned finally, with much relief
