Essence of Life

Touch
Carefully
The fragility
Of autumn's leaves.
Smell softly
The delicate scent
Of yesterday's spring.
Calm the pace
Of summers heat
And we shall watch the moment
Drawn out into eternity
And melt into
The essence of life itself.
